It's simple. To make the invisible, visible through art.

Revelation Rochester - Revealing the Artist Within Workshops

Every Wednesday, guests (Revelation Artists) are provided art ‘freedom’, supplies and encouragement – all at no charge. Some request instruction, others only the peace of mind and restorative silence that comes from the power of connecting with their previously un-imagined creative self.

All are given an unrestricted and open space to express themselves in a non-judgmental, ideology free and positive environment. The work is often compelling, challenging and supremely beautiful on so many levels.

As a result of the unique friendships that are forming, Richmond has  been humbled and honored to render the telling faces of those that participate in the workshops. With their permission, Richmond eagerly begins the process of capturing the spirit in their individual portraits using  a variety of media. As a thank you for the privilege, prints of the final portraits are given to those who request one to share with friends and family.  The original paintings have been featured in the 2018/19 exhibit - Out of the Shadows - Making the Invisible, Visible through Art.

In addition to giving the Revelation Artists a space to create their art, Revelation Rochester is also looking for venues to exhibit their work throughout Rochester.  To see their work go to the Revelation Artists Gallery Page by clicking on the highlighted copy.
